NFS UNDERCOVER GAMEPLAY PS3 SERIES
Last year's Need for Speed ProStreet was a diversion for the series from recent years, going to track-based racing, plenty of tuning options and focusing entirely on the events than exploring the city or running from the cops.

With Burnout switching to an open world setting, it meant that it competed directly with Need for Speed in that space. While the franchise often worked to mix up the formula from year to year a decent bit, the release of EA's own Burnout Paradise posed a bit of a conundrum for the publisher. And an engine.ĮA's Need for Speed franchise has been in an odd position the last couple years.

In my opinion, it’s a keeper! Read full reviewīlack Box forgot a spark plug or two. The music definitely suits the driving, and the things you can do with your car are pretty cool too. It will be fun to play, and if you pace yourself the story line will get interesting and intrigue you to continue to play more. Over all this is a Great game, as long you don’t compare it to its predecessor. * The one touch button gets you right into the race challenges, which is a good and bad thing, because it kind of takes away from the game a bit, and you tend to loose the story line a bit, but it advances you quicker into building up money and new cars. * There are more of a variety of challenges to, which is awesome! However you will not be disappointed once it do es. * The story line is a bit hard to follow in the beginning you may have to give the game a chance to grow on you. * The Graphics are Awesome! The Cars are great! Very detailed overall. As the game progresses it does however get more challenging. * You start off with a descent car, so the races are not much challenging in the begining for experienced gamers therefore its more about following the game story line than avoiding being beat in a race. * "Undercover" is a total different story line, its good but not as great. If you’re going to compare this game to "most wanted" you may be a bit disappointed. If you played Need for Speed “Most Wanted" game, that is the best it’s going to get. As many as eight players can go Undercover together online. Other game modes allow players to take the role of the fleeing suspect or the pursuing police in one-off levels and challenges. The roads can fill up with randomly generated traffic and multiple, computer-controlled cop cars that work together to chase down crooks. Much of the driving action takes place across wide, southern U.S. Undercover's single-player campaign is driven by a story that sends the player's character deep into an underground crime syndicate, using his driving skills to gain trust by performing jobs and wining street races around Tri-City Bay, the game's fictional, open-world setting. It still requires a stunt driver's spirit, however, with imaginative routes and daring maneuvers well rewarded, and a complete wipeout always one wrong turn away.

It does not take stunt driver skills to drive like a stunt driver in Need for Speed.

Players perform 180s, 360s, burnouts, and instant reversals with the tap of a few buttons, and a fixed camera angle makes it easier to follow the action through spins and quick turns. The "Heroic Driving Engine" introduced in Need for Speed: Undercover aims to harness the game's realistic physics by condensing difficult, dangerous driving maneuvers into simple, button-press controls. The game features dozens of automobiles from the world's leading manufacturers, as well as real-life aftermarket parts, paint, vinyl, and other customizations. Hundreds of components and systems are individually modeled on each automobile, for realistic acceleration, suspension, weight displacement, and handling, in any car and under any circumstance.
